Why get a home inspection?

Buying a home can be an expensive and emotional purchase. The inspection should help to clarify any questions you may have about your new home, and give you an idea of its current condition. This will give you confidence and buying power.

How long should an inspection take?

Depending on the size of the home, the inspection can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. Other factors, such additional optional inspection services, can play a part in the time frame as well.

How much will the inspection cost?

The overall cost of an inspection can total between $300 and $700. It  depends on the size of the home, and if any optional services are requested.

Should I be concerned with negative findings on the report?

Absolutely not! We are merely fact finders. We go through your new home to find anything that may be an issue. We are here to help you make an informed decision. So, remarks on the report are what you pay for.

What does the inspection cover?

The Texas Standards of Practice state that the inspection  is a limited visual survey and basic performance evaluation of the systems and components of a building using normal controls that provides information regarding the general condition of a residence at the time of inspection. It is not intended to be a comprehensive investigation or exploratory probe to determine the cause or effect of deficiencies noted by the inspector.
